To be honest they don’t even deserve 1 star! Geoffrey Leaver were instructed in the handling of my Father’s estate. The reason they were instructed was due to a breakdown between the 2 joint executors. All GL were interested in was making money. They charged for correcting their errors, which occurred throughout the whole time they were dealing with the estate. They had duplicate charges & incorrect entries. Anyone who has instructed GL keep a very close eye on the time log & don’t expect any good advice, unless it means they will make money from it. After all monies were dispersed, with more money taken off by GL to do this, I raised a complaint with them. It took them 3 1/2 months to respond, and I believe that was only because I raised the case with the legal ombudsman. Their response was extremely unprofessional.
DO NOT USE THIS FIRM FOR PROBATE! All they want is your money, they show no empathy or concern about you & the fact that you have lost a loved one.
