Scam !! They've sent me some paperwork which is pointless to fill in due to the fact there is literally no further details to give them. I phoned them and was told to wait for a call back.... This was months ago.
Yesterday I get a bill for 1300! .... When they've literally done nothing but send me one letter.
The receptionist has even said they have a record of my phone call and it's not been returned.
I've now asked for a call back from a manager but doubt that will happen, the case worker is now magically phoning me... They also don't answer the phone to unknown numbers which is a red flag.

Honestly a scam!! Run for your life and don’t accept these money grabbing people.

I will be visiting them tomorrow to see them as they have not been responding to any calls or messages.

This company have been useless from the start. Very poor communication throughout. I’ve had to constantly chase them to find out what stage my personal injury claim was at. Now the communication and my claim have totally broken down it would seem. No response from them at all. Terrible customer service, terrible business. Would highly recommend people do not use this company.

Stay away from Equitas. We didnt go ahead with the claim and they've charged us £3,200 so called fees for a 'retainer'. To be clear, we have received NO legal advice or services, this can only be some legal loophole. They're threatening court action. What a nightmare. Taking it to our MP, and have sought independent legal advice. If Equitas cold call you like they did us, hang up quickly. They admit they purchased our data from a marketing company. The solicitor who did act for us charged £200, how can Equitas charge 8 times the amount, when we had no medical appointments or legal advice?

Please dont contact these people for any reason. Husband an opportunity to know them for solving an accident case. Ended up paying them more than £1000.
Worst experience ever. Didnt even had a translator to communicate. In the beginning communication was polite but towards the end awful experience.
"NEVER EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE"
Dont want anyone to go through such horrible experience ever.

I appointed Equitas Law to handle a dispute following a relationship breakdown. On initial consultation the solicitor that was assigned was thorough and engaging and I was confident they would do the job. That's where it ended. Communication was non existent. I called for updates and was dismissed off the phone (and charged c £20 each time for the privilege) being told I'd be updated when the situation changes. I had to wait months between letter being sent. No follow up was done after this to the other side. The standard of the legal letters being sent was woeful. The solicitor began asking me for details of the fundamentals of case which I had covered with her more than enough time. And not to forget that every bit of communication was costing me £20 per 6 minutes. I was promised an efficient and swift handling of the case when I appointed them, but 5 months later no progress has been made and I have had to terminate their instruction.

Zaida, the director, came highly recommended but I ended up with an incapable monkey.

Scam. Such horrible people, is this even legal? My partner was knocked off his motorbike, Equitas pretended to be acting on behalf of the other party and claimed they wanted to pay him. This, it turns out was untrue, they continued to harass my partner, frequently ignoring his request to stop, and are now threatening to make us pay if we don't provide them more information. Really? If you get a call from these guys run the hell away.
