Eleanor Rogers dealt with my case, can not fault her.
Her care and compassion was second to none, she made an awful situation so much easier with her knowledge and expertise.
I was kept informed regularly about progress of the case.
When going through my paperwork Eleanor explained everything to me in "lamens" terms and helped with amendments that needed to be put in.
Absolutely wonderful and great at her job.

I rang for a quote on my personal mobile, I have no idea why you feel that is worthy of a review?
Your quote was £500.00 more expensive than the quote from NEXA at the Alexander Centre in Faversham (my next call) for exactly the same work.

Awful, after 13 months dealing with my grand mother's estate they still haven't applied for probate.
Absolutely no response to any emails.
Extortionate costs to maintain extravagant offices, shocking service they really are terrible.

Took over 2.5 years to sort out my dad’s will and charged a nice large sum for the pleasure.

Further update: Legal Ombudsman has ordered them to pay me compensation.
Update: I have been informed by another law firm that the legal advice provided by Furley Page, in relation to my late father's estate, was wrong. Their advice only applied if there was a will; my father did not leave a will. In response to my complaint, a Senior Partner at Furley Page acknowledged I had been given that advice. However there was no admission of error; no accountability; no apology. I was advised to refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman. Very distressing.

The dispute resolution team seems more suited to corporate clients than personal disputes. Almost three weeks after I had paid £1200 on account, I was told the whole department was preparing a big case for trial and my solicitor would be on holiday the following week. A further two weeks passed before my letter was sent. Despite being aware of my mental health problems, they added to my stress when they should have been helping me. I was not given any advice or realistic expectations to resolve the dispute; I was simply asked what I wanted in a letter. My case was given to a trainee solicitor; consequently everything took longer and the bill narrative logged the trainee's time (£192 per hour) plus the supervisor's time (up to £390 per hour) to check their work, even if one word in a letter was changed. It apparently took two hours and 35 minutes to make minor amendments to a letter. They charge for everything: correspondence before terms of business have been agreed; to correct their mistakes; to clarify their own misleading letters; for unnecessary emails and phone calls; admin; emails to tell you how much you are being charged; reviewing work they have already charged for; internal communication. In my experience, billable hours are more important to this firm than client care.
