I was extremely disappointed with the solicitor assigned to my cash purchase of a property. Having used the firms Alcester office previously to sell my late mothers house they were really good. Also the vendor was using same firm in another area of the country. So I choose HCB on this basis. From the start there were many errors made by her and my main concerns were how slow and quite frankly bordering in rude when every week I had a chase for updates and answers. I felt she bordered on deliberately delaying my purchase. I will never use or recommend this branch again.

One of the most slowest solicitors I have dealt with in my 25 years of estate agency.
On one small sale transaction, 5 solicitors were changed and no one had a clue what was going on, except they all blame the person before them.
More so, I was told all five them have left the firm one after another.

If you want the sale to fall through and not serious about completing, only then use them

HCB were incredibly helpful to me when I was in need of their Family services. Antonia and Lily offered objective advice and counsel, spoke from their personal as well as professional experience and were a true support and ally through what was an incredibly difficult time. We didn’t always agree on everything (like any good democracy!), but Antonia in particular made tremendous effort to talk things through, see things from my perspective and move forwards in a way in which we were both comfortable. It’s one of those where I hope never to have to call on their services again, but I’d work with HCB in a heartbeat if the need ever arose and couldn’t recommend Antonia and Lily enough for their professionalism and the true care they have for their clients and their outcomes.
