I've been using Jacobs for about 10 years and not had a problem with any of the Solicitors. There's a lot of bad, poor solicitors who don't care but Steve Fearn's, good solicitor. Stevie Bate super professional and helpful. What a Solicitor should be, super professional with good communication skills ? The Owner of Jacobs should be proud of his/her staff

Great for small stuff-I needed documents verifying, which they managed to squeeze me in quickly and efficiently.

However with my house purchase it was a grueling experience as my vendors used them. It was hard to get through on the phone to their conveyancers, chain free took 7 months. I was glad I chose Juno as my conveyancers instead of Jacobs as I initially wanted to based on reviews, but changed my mind after.

It was not an efficient, easy process for my conveyancers to deal with Jacobs at all.

I couldn't recommend these solicitors enough! Petra and Linda managed all of the conveyancing for my first property and they were excellent. I found them to be very efficient with their responses, particularly when the other parties solicitors were the complete opposite. If I move again I'll most certainly be using Jacobs again.

I chose Jacobs & Co due to good reviews and their proximity to my workplace for the conveyancing on my first home. They always had an appointment to suit me, and most correspondence was through e-mail to reduce the need for me to disrupt my work. They're really quick at communicating, and they explain everything very concisely in easy to understand language. They're also happy to advise and answer questions, no matter how simple. Colette Clynch dealt with my case and she was very friendly, and highlighted relevant parts of the deeds that I had to be weary of. She dealt with all the paperwork very quickly, and took my needs into account when scheduling the exchange (namely getting one last payment into my Help to Buy ISA before redeeming it). They really helped make buying my first house a smooth and pleasant experience.

I needed someone to certify my documents to say I look like the pictures on my passport, etc. Called all the solicitors in Ellesmere Port and only here I got help with that and the price was great too. Next time I need a solicitor I am going to call them first. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
