Avoid if you actually want a solicitor to represent you.. I had 2 weeks till my court date, called in thw Monday was told they'd call me back inxe they get all the detqils from the court. Few days went back no call back, I call again on the Thursday to be told she don't know which of the 2 solicitors is dealing with my case so she has emailed both of them to for 1 of em to call me back... Weekend goes by, still nothing.. I call again and ask to be told they can't help me 2 days before my court date? So wasted my time for 2 weeks nowhave no time to try & get another solicitor to represent me in 2 days time.. if I could give a score of minus they'll be getting it.

Failed to return my phone calls for weeks &weeks , communication is poor would not recommend… these to anyone , contacted another solicitors and got told what I needed to know within mins!

Incorrect legal advise, was told its illegal to record my interactions, explained because of medical reasons I do so for my own use only. was told I was wrong and lectured. "According to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA), recording conversations without consent in the UK is legal provided the recording is done for personal use; this includes telephone conversations."

Had to ring to get them to attend court as I was left on my own after giving them all the details and time . Turned up an hour late unprepared and had to delay the court all day and had to come back .Bad advice and no fight maybe as on legal aid ? Not paying. Got a fine and solicitor said I think that’s my fault I missed it ? Hard to get hold of no card or email address ,even left messages with reception and no call back . Solicitor said liked to stay under the radar when spoke .First solicitor who came to interview said it wouldn’t even get to court , turned out he was a trainee .

I had a good result with divorce and quite cheaply. Building not suitable for disabled though as most consultanting rooms upstairs and ground floor has lots of steps up and down high and low levels.

I went to Yarwood and Stubley after having a poor experience with a different solicitor in the area. Yarwood were much much better and I cannot rate them highly enough, in particular Stephen Gibson.
Yarwood were very good at getting back to me when required and were much better value than I expected and what other firms in the area were charging.
