I had been going through court for almost a year before I found Mary. I had a solicitor before hand which was useless! I got in contact with Mary as I still needed support but wanted to explore options! Not knowing much about mckenzie friends on the first initial phone call Mary talked through everything with me, and gave me the space and time to figure out what I wanted to do next. Unfortunately I was going through court with a parent that only wanted what he wanted and wasn’t putting the children’s best interest forward. Through lies of a section 7 report to lie from the other parent and another almost 2 years in court Mary helped me see sense, helped me stay calm, and stand my ground. With the bullet proof statements to sensible advice from Mary almost 3 years in court, on December 4th me and Mary walked out of a final hearing in court with nothing less then an order in the best interest of my child! I am going through divorce and courts and I was lost and broken… When I found Mary, she became not only my solicitor she is my support, my friend… she always there for me when I feel very down and feel like I am giving up. I was drawn to Mary's company Women's McKenzie Friend because of the extensive background she has working with and for women. During our first consultation I realised she completely understood what I had been going through and felt confident in her abilities to help me through the Financial Resolution process as a Litigant in Person. She has extensive knowledge of the court process and has helped me as little or as much as I need when filling in statements and forms. I could not navigate this process without her having many health issues and disabilities, she has given me the confidence to stand strong throughout this drawn out process. She always goes above and beyond and is literally worth her weight in gold. We have also had a laugh along the way. She will assist in courts if required at all hearings from FDA to a final hearing. I would recommend Mary and Women's McKenzie Friend whole heartedly for her legal knowledge, kindness and support and her fees are a fraction of a solicitors. I wish I had found her first before spending thousands getting very little in return from the solicitor.
