The employment lawyers at Wolferstans, James Twine and Victoria Seargant are exceptional. As a Head of HR, I've got to know them both over the past 12 months whilst attending their employment club. They are great at keeping us all updated on the ever changing employment laws that have been introduced and to come under the new Labour government. They explain the changes so well, using language that we all understand. They are extremely approachable and pragmatic. I wouldn't hesitate to use Wolferstans in the future.

The worst solicitors ever!
I wanted to sue my previous company for unfair dismissal. Wolferstans wanted me to accept the company’s offer BEFORE getting the offer.
After months of going back and forth with emails, I accepted the offer I wasn’t happy about and I had to pay Wolferstans £5k for their bad service.
I learned the lesson, next time I go directly to Union.

I went to Wolferstans because they were rated highly - but don’t be duped like I was! I initially connected with Steph Marsh and had a positive call and decided to progress… little did I know that was the only conversation we’d have as she was then in and out of holidays. While I appreciate it was the summer, it wasn’t made clear to me that she wouldn’t be around and that I’d be passed around to others.

I was passed to James Twine and Mara Cunha. There was apparently a handover but it felt like they weren’t clear on the background so I ended up having to rekindle discussions and push forward on my own. Mara was responsive and helpful yet James needed to be chased and despite my asking never wanted to engage in a conversation. I ended up having to source other partner emails to plead for help or call out his lack of support / engagement.

All in all a terrible experience with Wolferstans and I wouldn’t recommend them if you need legal advice or agility! They are looking to simply sign a piece of paper, take your money and provide none or very little support! I personally felt incredibly exposed and under represented by them! Do yourself a favour and stay clear!

Shocking avoid at all cost , happy to send the bill each month , but no communication at all , charged for all for updates , got a court order I didn’t agree too. And bullied into paying a bill a few days before court or they wouldn’t represent me. Be very careful and avoid

We used Wolferstans for the house we recently purchased. Ebenezer, James and Claire were amazing. Very helpful and informative. Always made sure things were moving along, and helped us with any questions or issues we had. Would recommend for anyone buying a house.
