I have owned vehicles and driven for over 40 years and you get to meet and deal with a few garages and technicians in that time. Blair is up there with the best. Possibly the best with cars and light commercials. Fair pricing and he knows his trade - I have given him some difficult work in the last 12 months and he has done a superb job .. he explains the what and the why when he does the work and he is a straight talker. An honest man. I definitely recommend

Wimborne MOT were the only garage that could fit my car in for an MOT this week. I haven’t used them before. However all other car garages I’ve used previously never seem to call to let you know a pass/fail or any work…I have to call them and chase up at the end of the day. Wimborne MOT communication was fantastic and they kept me in the loop with phone calls. Even letting me know the cost before I agree to the work (which has never happened at other garages!) car was fixed and MOT promptly. Thanks so much for a great service I will definitely be recommending you and using again!

Wimborne MOT are a lifesaver! We are from Leeds and were travelling down to the ferry port in Poole to catch a ferry to France with our Ford Transit Campervan. We had an issue on the way down meaning we kept loosing power. We managed to arrive in Poole and had no luck with any garage that could fit us in quickly. We called Wimborne MOT and explained our situation that we were meant to catch the ferry and that we aren’t local, they fit us in the next day for a diagnostic which turned out to be our turbo. They quickly fixed it for us within the week and made arrangements to help us out since we weren’t from the area! They are truly a lifesaver and we can’t thank them enough! Definitely recommend Wimborne MOT centre!!

Very fair and decent garage!
FIVE STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently purchased a camper van to eventually convert and tour around in.

Last year's MOT was my first MOT with the camper with DIFFERENT local garage (without naming names) the other side of town near Canford buttom next to Jewsons. They gave an incredibly unfair MOT with parts that aren't even on any official MOT inspection manual. I've been in the car trade since I was 16 and do 100's of MOTs with cars I buy and sell. I know what is right and wrong and what is safe and unsafe and what is a fail and what isn't. Due to the size of the camper I needed a garage that could accommodate the height and length.

Anyway, from this I had a huge amount of anxiety with my camper now going for this year's MOT. I called up Wimborne MOT Centre explained the awful situation from last year and they were calm, understanding and more than happy to take on the MOT.

During the MOT they showed me the parts that needed changing and even though it failed on some rust and some ball joints, the list had gone from
3.5 pages to just under 1 page. A fair and genuine MOT. That's all I wanted.

A week later the failed parts and a few advisories were fixed and a retest was booked in for the next day. After 10 minutes of arriving it had passed!

Wimborne MOT Centre is where I will be taking my camper back every year! Simply a genuine place for a MOT.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR MOT AND REPAIRS!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Took my vehicle for an MOT, came back with a snapped handbrake cable and alternator failure. Mechanic that replaced cable assured me it wasn’t worn and must have been “ripped up too hard”. Not looking to scald and point fingers but regardless if it was intentional or unintentional, no apology. MOT failure work quoted by Blair at £815.00 which seemed very high so sent to another garage where I had the work completed for £350.00. Huge difference. Always compare quotes to prevent getting your pants pulled down.
