I'm currently in the process of dealing with a legal dispute, and a friend recommended I speak to Katherine Marshall from Wilkin Chapman. I've called round a few places in Lincoln to assess my options, but I can honestly say that Katherine went above and beyond to try to help me.

She outlined my options and was clear about the pros and cons of each, even with regards to options that meant I wouldn't need a solicitor at all. She was kind, professional, and just generally a lovely person. I left our conversation feeling much less bewildered and with a solid plan of what to do next.

I can honestly stress please donot use Wilkin Chapman for your personal injury claim.
They were quick to obtain my business but ive spent over 5 years pursuing them to finally gain a result....Endless months awaiting a response to letters sent ...zero communication... The only real action by Wilkin Chapman llp was taken when a final warning to refer matters to the Legal Ombudsman was issued against the personal injury team.

This should not be the case...blame the pandemic... blame this... blame that.

Yes a successful outcome in the end ( but this was achieved mostly through my own grafting).... but such a poor customer service experience from the Wilkin Chapman llp team.

I hope they address the issues internally with communication break down.

On website headline ad 24hr response sent enquiry posted mon am before opening hrs Wednesday pm as yet not replied Friday I think you get the picture over weekend formed opinion what they really mean working days by Mon afternoon I had to get family members involved
(Forgot to mention hearing difficulties putting it mildly) phone call (at last someone alive )(beginning to wonder) they took message (office junior)saying will contact within 24hr putting it blunt I just been victim of the 24hr reply next explained my requirements end result not enough financial gain to be had in my humble opinion they appear to have have more than a technical ad issue WHAT DO I KNOW They are after all solicitors WHY DIDI BOTHER?!!!!! If anyone looking at this for fear of wrath of company THIS IS JUST A OPINION that's it in a nutshell thanks

I wanted to write another review after another great experience of selling my property and buying another. Many thanks to Jo Sworder, Kelly Flear and Sarah Whinnerah for the very professional service and great communication throughout. Very lovely people. I can't recommend this team enough.

As a complete contrast to the previous “review” which appears to be more of an embittered rant, Louise Chapman dealt with my extremely complex and unusual divorce settlement and I found her to be absolutely first class. She was very thorough in every way and I found her to be entirely ethical, even when a point in question wasn’t necessarily in my favour.
