I am writing this review because I want to share my experience with other health care professionals who may find themselves in a similar situation to myself.
I was subject to some allegations, regarding my conduct, from my workplace.
I had to self refer to my regulatory body(HCPC) while my employer conducted their lengthy investigation.
Unfortunately, I did not contact Marc in the early stages of my regulatory body referral, for this reason, my case met their threshold at their screening stage and was subsequently referred on to their investigation panel for further investigation.
When I was informed of this, I was very concerned and confused as I was not a member of a union.
I tried looking for a solicitor, and somehow came across what rights. I did not hesitate and called Marc straight away, we had a lengthy conversation about my case, Marc was extremely professional and very supportive.
He represented me at my regulatory body level, but he also advised me during my employers investigation and disciplinary hearing, which resulted in a no case to answer.
I celebrated this result and I forgot about the regulatory body referral( as Marc was dealing with that)....a few months went by when I received an email from my regulatory body informing me of their allegations. This time though I was not worried, I knew I had Marc on my side!
Marc, advised me that he would look into the allegations respond on my behalf.
A few ways later, Marc emailed me a draft response for my approval, I was blown away by the quality of the response, I had tears rolling down my eyes, I knew this response will be sufficient to end the case against me...
My regulatory body found that there was no case to answer and after 15 long months, I was finally free and clear of all allegations against me.

A few points to note;
1) if you are facing regulatory body referral, do NOT delay and contact Marc ASAP! I wish I had done so earlier at the screening stage!

2) Marc was extremely helpful, he advised (via phone and email) me during my employers investigation and hearing, he replied to my emails promptly, he answered my calls, and most of all, he was very supportive and encouraging.

3) Marc knows how to respond to allegations in a very professional manner. He kept in touch with me, asked the right questions to understand complex situations before writing a response to the regulatory body.

4) I can not recommend Marc highly enough. As I mentioned earlier, do not delay, contact Marc ASAP if you are involved in any regulatory/professional body concerns. It's always a good idea to have representation earlier as your case my be dismissed at the screening stage.

Thank you for all your help and support Marc!

Thank you for investing time to read my review.

Yours truly,
A very happy health care professional.

Marc has been a pillar of strength for me in an emotionally charged and lengthy case. 4 years ago my suspension began and I found myself unable to practice and mentally in a very dark place, I had given up and really held no hope for my career in nursing.
I have found the NMC regulatory process a complete minefield and that, combined with my mental state at the time, pushed me to explore the possibility of having representation. I searched through old cases and noticed a name that kept appearing on cases where the registrant had kept their PIN; “Marc Walker”
This prompted me to call, and immediately Marc came across as very personable. Marc has always been responsive, approachable and his knowledge of the process really filled me with confidence from the offset. All of these things, you would expect of your representative, I suppose, but what really sets Marc apart is the care and consideration he puts into your continued development as well as your case. The frank reflections and holistic guidance will not only keep you going when things are tough, but ultimately shape you into a better practitioner. I received my outcome today, I will continue to be a nurse and provide for my children for years to come. Thank you Marc, I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed even under the very stressful circumstances

Marc Walker is the Hero of Legal Representation of the Medical Profession. He is a force; and one that you cannot not have with you if unfortunate enough to be facing fitness to practice proceedings.
I started my journey 3 Years ago this past April. Where I found myself in a position I never believed I would find myself: starting the long difficult journey in proving myself worthy of my much loved profession.
Marc was with me every step of the way. A difficult case, fraught with system failings, a roller coaster from start to finish. He was patient, kind, supportive, his professionalism, knowledge and passion for his field is so very apparent. I struggle to write words that will truly emphasise how wonderful he is. He gave me the confidence and strength to continue my fight, each hurdle approached and overcome with him by my side.
Last week, he won my case, I being found fit to practise with no impairment. I could finally put this truly awful time of my life behind me.
For that, my family and myself will always be grateful. Although I do not ever intend our paths crossing again, meant in the nicest possible way, He would be in the forefront of my mind if I came into contact with anyone faced with a professional conduct charge. I would urge any Nurse unfortunate enough to have to face this charge, face it with Marc by your side, it will be the best life decision made.
Thankyou Marc, from the bottom of my heart. Sarah

If you ever find yourself needing someone to represent you at an interim order hearing with the NMC- then look no further, don’t delay and contact Marc.
I believe I found Marc by god guiding me to him. I literally found Marc’s website by chance. I knew I found exactly the person who I wanted to be at my side during the hearing. I was extremely relieved & grateful to hear I was not going to have any restrictions imposed on me to practice as a nurse. The relief afterwards was immense after a very stressful week leading up to the hearing.
I asked for a miracle and both god and Marc provided the miracle for me.
Marc is compassionate, and honest & knowledgeable in these hearings. You won’t be disappointed with the professional work Marc provides

I cannot recommend What Rights and Marc Walker highly enough. After two long years of ongoing issues with a HCPC fitness to practice allegation, I decided that I needed a new approach as I had lost faith and confidence in my legal representative. After looking through many websites of companies who deal with FTP cases, I came across What Rights and knew straight away this was right for me. Marc is extremely professional, is a good listener and inspires confidence. His communication is excellent and you know exactly what is happening at all stages of the process. Thanks to Marc, my case did not go to a Full Hearing and instead the case was dismissed in its entirety following a recent preliminary hearing. I still have not fully processed that over two years of stress and uncertainty is finally over but I can now move on without this hanging over me. I cannot thank Marc enough for helping to close the door on the whole situation.

Marc has represented me over the last 3 years regarding an FTP case raised by a previous employer. When I found out I had been reported to the HCPC and they wanted to suspend my practice, Marc argued my case and persuaded them to apply restrictions which allowed me to still work. Although it was difficult to obtain employment , as I had restrictions and was being investigated, I never gave up and ultimately obtained employment and had my restrictions fully lifted . My case has just been before an ICP panel with no case to answer. Marc was always professional , honest and truthful when I had any queries regarding my case. His legal fees were also reasonable and there were no hidden costs .
I would highly recommend him if you need an FTP solicitor. To anyone who has been reported to their regulator, the process is very stressful . Please do not go into it without legal representation . X

Marc was like my guardian angel. I couldn't have got through one of the most awful experiences of my life without him. He absolutely knows his profession inside out, and puts every ounce of effort into his work. A lovely, genuine man. Thank you Marc. ?

Marc was absolutely amazing with and FTP initial investigation for the HCPC. He gave advice and assistance, helped to change some wording in order to show that there was no case to answer to.

Even receiving the initial correspondence from the HCPC causes huge stress, Marc reassured me from the beginning. I like many had already had correspondence with the HCPC and this lead to them deciding to do initial investigations, what I advise is don’t contact them until you have spoken with Marc.

Don’t be put off thinking it will cost too much either I was so surprised with my bill and not in a bad way, he is so reasonable for the support he gives.

Thank you so much.
