Booked a lorry on weds afternoon with welchs transport for a collection 9am friday. got an email to confirm provisional booking and was told to send forms off which we did the same day and then told would receive a call to make payment. heard nothing by 1pm thursday so chased up trying to make payment only to speak to someone that had no clue about the booking and no record of the email. this person then found the booking 10 minutes later after being on hold only to say they hadnt received the forms as the person that took the booking that we emailed was off and nobody else had access to their emails so then resent the forms as requested by 2pm only to be told at 3pm that they werent able to provide us a lorry for 9am the next morning.
An absolute joke that will cost us a lost deposit on the load as we couldnt get another firm in to move the load with just 2 hours notice.
