Never have I had to deal with a solicitor (Ms Padgett) who has written such toxic and vitriol correspondence. All we did as executors, were to follow the instructions of the will.
Nobody should have to deal with such unprofessional and unnecessary personal attacks while grieving a loved one.

Since the start of using Welch and co they were rude, only three times phone the client about what was going on the client was calling for information. No help with court. Family was trying to get information for court to help with case solicitors ignore all information. Day of court wanted client to take pled deal but client and family disagree solicitors would not help client even through client had expressed their opinion solicitors decide to walked on client on day of court very disappointed with solicitors would never use again.

I was very disappointed by this firm who on 3 occasions seemed very keen to do business with me; then, when they knew the details, decided they were 'too busy'. In my opinion, wokery has permeated the legal profession and as Welch's is 75% or so female staffed, I, being a straight, old, male WASP did not meet their ideal client profile.

Contract signed and search fees paid, received a call 18 months later (2 months out from house completion) to state they can not represent us - very brief, unprofessional and unapologetic call and left us in limbo.

We also discovered they had our mortgage offer for 6 weeks prior and no work or searches done.

Quick and pleasant to start with for fees, then very poor service and lack of communication since -Would not recommend.
