Acted as executor to my late mother. Complaint to the ombudsman for over charging and incorrectly calculating fees was upheld and remedy of £10,443.64 awarded. Took them 9 months to pay it. Under the freedom of information act I have been given a list of 12 other complaints, of which 10 fall under wills and probate. The total awards amount to over £30,000.
Settled my mothers estate 4 years ago and retained part of the estate. Have repeatedly ignored all requests to return it.
Threatened my sister with court action unless she withdrew her review.

Dreadful love the way they review themselves. Accessible not still waiting for a will too be finalized 4 years on. Basically will take your money and ghost you. Please spare yourself the nightmare I'm still enduring.
