My family and I entered into a difficult situation in April of 2024. When faced with the scary situation of court action we needed a barrister to assist in our defence. It all happened very quickly and we didn't know which way to turn. After receiving a recommendation to speak with Walnut House Chambers we were put in touch with Lara Spencer. Get Lara Spencer on your side. She was phenomenal - her knowledge, insight and advice was always spot on and having someone who really knows their stuff and prepares well was invaluable. I had randomly sought her legal opinion and then decided to instruct her as a litigant in person instead of using a solicitor. She worked very hard, was always easy to contact and gave me excellent guidance, as well as keeping my morale up in the face of a slippery opponent.

In general anyone wanting a realistic assessment of their case would be wise to consult a direct access barrister first. I hope I don't have any more litigation in my life but if did I would be straight back to Lara.
