In November 2024, a valuation report for our commercial property in Nottingham was conducted by Viktor Chow, an employee of the firm – someone I genuinely wish I had never had to deal with.

Not only did he significantly undervalue the property, but he also demonstrated a lack of understanding of the local market. Despite the property consistently generating an annual rental income of no less than £50,000 over the past five years – and currently being let for £60,000 under a valid lease agreement – Mr. Chow assigned a rental value of only £36,000 per year.

Thanks to our broker's diligent efforts, we were eventually able to have the rental figure corrected. However, this came at a cost – both financially and in terms of wasted time.

While I am aware that it's not always fair to judge an entire firm based on the conduct of a single employee, Mr. Chow’s lack of professional competence and condescending attitude during the site visit raise serious concerns. I strongly believe his actions and performance should be thoroughly reviewed and monitored by the company.

Such an experience severely undermines trust in the valuation process and reflects poorly on the firm’s quality control.
