Went in today to purchase a new set of road running trainers.
I was provided loads of knowledge and advice. There was no pushy selling or being guided to certain brands or offers.
The focus was on my needs I feel I could have tried every pair on the shop if it got me the right ones. I clearly did as later on 12k completed with 6 new segment PRs and none of my niggles playing up.
Amazing friendly staff, I highly recommend anyone looking for new gear to pop in.

Very knowledgeable staff, we were helped by Dylan (if I remember correctly, it was a few weeks ago) - he helped my partner to find some first running shoes, suited to her running style. Very helpful and patient, no pressure for a sale either. Would highly recommend!

I wasn't sure what I needed from running shoes and so was recommended to come into the shop. I spoke with Fraser who was fantastic, very clearly explaining the differences for me and answering all my questions. The gait analysis was very helpful and I left with some shoes I was very happy with. Thanks to Fraser for his help.

I’d been thinking about starting to get into running as several family members had recently taken it up, so popped in to try and find some decent running shoes.

Alex and Joe helped me to do a gait analysis on the treadmill and after discovering that my ankles tended to roll inwards they recommended a few different shoes with varying levels of support.

As a complete newbie to running, their friendly advice helped me to find a great first pair of running shoes, and I’ll probably be back for more in the future! Thanks guys!

Great shop, great choice. I dropped in and was served by Fraser. He was very patient and tolerated me trying about 5 pairs on the treadmill. I bought a pair and after a test
decided they were not quite right for my injured ankle. Returned to the store and had no issues getting a refund. I will return and try the Tapo Atmos again when recovered. Thanks again.

I recently visited Up & Running with my husband and we were thoroughly impressed!
A very welcoming shop that really stands out due to its customer service, product knowledge and has a great selection. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to offer a gait analysis and offering recommendations based on what we were both after.
Overall, it’s a great place for anyone who is looking for trainers, running gear or accessories, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned athlete. We highly recommend supporting this local gem!
