STAY AWAY! I assigned a case to Ubique Ltd and soon I realized that they were not working to offer the best service, but to extract as much funds as they could from me. Just before the witness statement, they required £15k to proceed till the trial with no breakdown cost split. Later, I discovered that the Defence omitted a point in Amended Particulars' of Claim and of course, they denied any responsibility. If there was a zero, I would put zero star.

Disappointed with Ubique Legal Limited's Service

I recently contacted Ubique Legal Limited for assistance in recovering rent arrears. While the solicitor was polite and sometimes responsive, I was ultimately disappointed with the outcome. I paid them £500 for sending the letters.

Lack of upfront information: I was not informed beforehand that the potential legal costs might outweigh the recoverable amount due to the claim being below £10,000. This crucial information should have been disclosed during the initial consultation.
Limited guidance: While I appreciate the recommendation for self-service debt recovery services, I was hoping for more personalized advice and support specific to my situation.
Overall, I felt that Ubique Legal Limited did not fully address my needs. While I understand the complexities involved, I believe greater transparency regarding potential costs and alternative options would have been beneficial. Amit
