Initially, we were planning on purchasing a new build property in Hitchin. I spoke to a number of other buyers in the estate and they recommended Kimberley Osborne of Tollers Stevenage to carry out the legal work. Kimberley carried out some legal work on this new build but myself and my family subsequently decided to go down a different route and buy a different house in Hitchin. Kimberley was very understanding and kind when we told her of our change. Kimberley and her team subsequently worked on the house we just purchased and everything went very smoothly. Tollers worked quickly and efficiently. The legal side of things didn't prove stressful as a result. We felt that the cost of the services provided was fair especially given how much we procrastinated on the purchase. We are now in our new house and extremely happy. Kimberley and Kirsten Blaikie were great and we would highly recommend them and Tollers Stevenage.

Kimberly was recommended to us by a family member who had also used Tollers as their conveyancing solicitor. Having had a bad experience with a different solicitor when selling a property, we could not fault Kimberly or any of the staff at Tollers at all, it was such a different experience to the other firm. Replies were speedy, we were kept well informed and everything was made clear to us with a polite, friendly but professional approach.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kimberly at Tollers.

I was recommended a few different solicitors and after checking reviews, decided to take a chance with Tollers. I can honestly say, it was the BEST decision and money well spent.

Kimberley and her team worked to tight time frames to get my case over the line. There were a few complexities and they smoothed everything out, keeping me informed at every step of the process. I am so pleased with the service provided and have recommended Tollers Stevenage to others. I am looking forward to working with them again soon.

I highly recommend Kimberley for her efficiency, attention to detail as well as her wealth of knowledge and experience. She’s a credit to Tollers.

We purchased our first house with the assistance of Kimberly Osborn, who was recommended by a friend. Kimberly was professional from the start until the completion date, ensuring we were kept up to date with the entire process. Her knowledge and experience within the sector were evident throughout. We would 100% recommend using Kimberly/Tollers when purchasing or selling your property; it was a stress free experience and worth every penny!

I cannot tell you how grateful my wife and I are to Tollers for the excellent service they have provided in completing our last five conveyances both purchases and sales.

Our last move was completed so professionally by Kimberly and her magnificent team. We had big problems with our buyer and their solicitors but Kimberly guided us through the mire to the best conclusion.

Thank you Kimberly. I am sorry it has taken so long for everyone to know how good you and your team are. Well done!

I would recommend Tollers without reservation.

Tollers provided a great service to us in support of our house sale and purchase. Kimberley and Rebecca in particular were fantastic. They were always polite, friendly and provided excellent advice, guidance and timely communication at all times during the sale and purchase process. They helped make what can sometimes be a difficult time very stress free. A thoroughly deserved 5 star rating!

Kimberley helped us with our recent house purchase, and was great throughout. She was always quick to reply to emails, and happy to call to talk through anything if needed. What I thought would be a very stressful process was actually quite easy with Kimberley at the helm. Would recommend to others

Tollers were used by another party in a recent commercial property transaction that I was part of. In order to get it completed, I was liable for their fees, but even this was made deliberately difficult by their staff not accepting a purchase order or allowing a transfer to them, but needing an undertaking from another solicitor. I feel as though this led the groundwork for an apathetic delivery of the services by a cluster of staff who had no incentive, focus, nor commitment to getting the job done in a timely fashion. The staff members assigned to the case only worked part time hours and rarely handed casework off to other colleagues; resulting in months of delays completely attributable to them. It's quite sad to see that there are legal firms out there who are so confident of charging for poor service that even at the partner level they use words in emails like "The fact that the transaction has taken longer than you would like is unfortunate, but it is not something which would justify a complaint, especially one from someone who is not our client. While we would keep you updated when possible as a matter of courtesy, because you are not our client we have no obligation to do so, or to respond immediately (or at all) to emails from you." Whilst we were not clients of theirs, their client was also kept in the dark about the mistakes being made, and the impact of the staff working part time; resulting in the need to have to contact their client directly to advise them accordingly. In fact, the only way of getting them motivated was seemingly when they realised that their client had been informed of their constant mistakes.

I don't relish writing bad reviews, but the apathy at the highest levels of this organisation could only be excused as apathy and not deliberate negligence due to the fact that I just don't think the motivation to do anything really good or really bad exists. Frankly, I'm not sure if this is arguably worse than actively being, and knowing, that you're rubbish, but their impact to this recent transaction was undeniable; as was their contempt for everyone else in the process.
