I was contacted by my original pension provider in numerous occasions to explain that I would be entitled to a bonus if I chose to transfer my pension to another provider.

I was also informed by my original pension provider that I wouldn’t have the facility to make partial withdrawals on the fund.

The first advisor that I met was very keen for me to sign on the bottom line at the closure of the very first meeting. This made me decide there and then that I didn’t want to entrust 30 years of savings to this person only after meeting him for an hour or so.

I felt instinctively that Kealy took a far less pressured approach, and throughout the process was continually checking that I was happy and understood the process and that I could change my mind at any point if I chose to do so.

From the outset this made me feel that I could trust my 30 years of savings with Kealy, she has explained on many occasions that the fund can increase and decrease and that this is the nature of these funds.

I was also looking for a financial advisor that is accessible, and Kealy has proved that on many occasions.

I was looking for a fund that I can access and monitor easily so I can make a judgment on my contributions into the fund.

I also wanted a fund that at the time in the future when I want to make ad hoc withdrawals and keep the remainder invested, that I have that facility without being penalised and Kealy has provided that for me.

The fact that this fund has made good progress in these early days is encouraging too.
