We were very pleased with the services we got through the resolution center. Tess was excellent. She is kind and professional, very knowledgeable and kept everything at a steady pace, which I really appreciated. The costs were reasonable and straightforward . I am grateful to the resolution center . My ex and I co parenting successfully and it’s all going well. When I decided that I wanted a divorce, my hope was for it to be amicable. I was concerned at times that wouldn't be the case ... But the Resolution Center really made that happen. It has been about two years now since the divorce was final. I feel we left there with a solution that we were both in agreement with and that set us on a good path for the new and improved dynamic we have now. Very high recommendations from me. 🙂

My ex-wife and I are good friends and we were struggling to get the court to give us the type of dissolution of marriage we wanted. Pat and Alex helped us achieve that and they were a delight to work with. They took a huge weight off of our shoulders by taking care of the legal stuff that we weren't sure about.

The resolution center is completely unique, in that it offers what cannot be found elsewhere. Divorce or marital dissolution is incredibly delicate, and is usually quite painful, for all the parties involved. The staff at the resolution center is adept at navigating these difficult waters. They make an extremely difficult situation bearable with wisdom, and a gentle understanding.
These counselors did an excellent job to help us through the process. It isn't just about splitting money and assets! It's about moving through a hellish process with some kindness, direction and dignity so that everyone can begin HEALING together. It was imperative to have this guidance especially when children are involved. The future felt brighter and healthier to get mediation through the center. It gave us a great deal of hope moving forward. It is truly an invaluable resource to have when conflict resolution is needed.

The best thing about my experience with The Resolution Center was the way they helped me and my soon-to-be ex-husband reimagine our family. We went through exercises that helped us identify what we wanted for our family (that included 3 kids) and then move toward those goals. Our family was not going to be the same, but we were able to imagine something new that has been invaluable for all of us.

We had a very bad experience with Pat Brown. He is extremely slow, forgetful, lacking knowledge, detail orientation, preciseness, but a master of stretching time and charging tens of thousands of dollars resulting in documents that lack basics, therefore bring no clear agreement. As there was no real resolution from the Resolution Center we ended up in another year long battle involving attorneys on both end ($$$$), and ending up in court. The year-long efforts (time and financial) were all wasted with Pat Brown. I am talking of many dozens of thousands here.
My friend went to him at divorce, too. He only found out after the facts, and he said that they would no way recommend him to us. Even though their case was very simple.
I would give zero stars if possible. Absolutely not recommended.

Tess Worrell is an extraordinary mediator. I wanted to believe that divorce didn’t have to be cruel and selfish. I wanted to believe that ultimately everything could be fair and in the best interest of our kids.

Tess provided wise counsel. Tess took the time to ask us what we wanted for our kids not just now but years from now when it’s all said and done.

Tess is an amazing listener. She was able to hear both sides and advise for our best interests. She let us discuss and ask questions and she patiently and very firmly but clearly explained every detail of what would be expected divorcing and moving forward. She refused to let us skip over anything. She insisted we be informed about everything before we made life altering decisions. Tess went through the expectations and realities of what we were going to experience after divorce happens. She helped us make decisions for ourselves by giving us facts and legal understanding of what our decisions meant personally and legally. Everything she has said has been exactly right.
I would recommend Tess to anyone wanting to divorce amicably but also wanting to be well advised about legal expectations.
I trust Tess. I trust Tess because she has kids of her own and she understands how the family dynamic will affect the lives of the kids and the lives of the parents trying to deal in difficult circumstances.

Tess is very honest and educated. Tess’s greatest strength is listening and communication and there are no misunderstandings because she is that good at communicating. I can’t say enough good things about Tess. I would choose her again.
