Persevered and despite difficulties got me through the process with a new house. Frequently available for me to call and try their best to be helpful. A lot of documentation to read, not all of it worth the time, but that's probably the same anywhere these days. Whenever things slowed down, it wasn't the Partnership and they sped it along when a third party unblocked us.

If you want an experience devoid of human interaction then the Partnership is the way to go. It is like dealing with a terrible version of chatGPT.

Their digital system is called “the portal”. This is confusing, clunky, and badly organised. The partnership emails you to let you know you have a message in the portal. You have to login, password, memorable word etc etc, to then find a message. Or maybe a question about an enquiry which is somewhere else in the portal. Awful.

My solicitors name is Laura Caskey. She seems extremely junior and has given poor advice on a couple of aspects of the sale. I gather that she was admitted in 2022 (sra.org.uk). I haven’t had a conversation with her once in 14 weeks since instructing the partnership (and counting). The partnership actively avoid human contact/ conversations. They also do not seem to have my best interests at heart.

I definitely should have read the other 1 star reviews before instructing the partnership. Overpriced and considerably worse than my previous experiences buying and selling.

In summary: you pay a premium for very junior solicitors who hide behind “the portal” unwilling to have a conversation and not experienced enough to give sound advice. Do not be drawn in!

Were it not for The Partnership and Helen and her assistants, I do not believe I would have achieved an exchange. The incompetence of other firms in the chain was jaw dropping!

Emails and calls always responded to immediately, weekly updates and a fantastic user friendly system that enables you to keep track of progress. I've already recommended to friends and I would never put my trust in any other firm after such a good experience.

I have been really disapointed. They have not been responsive (more than a week to answer request in general, even if called every day), nor been defending our interest, simply relaying the seller's sollicitor position without pushing or advising alternative solutions.
We managed to get through the transaction but I would not recommend to anyone.

Really poor communication and explaining of processes. We were first time buyers and didn’t know what was going on. Several times we had forms sent to us without any clarification of what they were for. We asked for guidance many times and were not responsed to. A really frustrating experience. Would actively tell people to avoid the company.
