Stayed in the car park in our motorhome (Brit Stops). Had a fabulous meal and a few beers then retired from the restaurant and sat round the open log fire. First class food, drinks & service. What a great team. We hope to visit again soon

Recommended by some friends who live locally. Extensive menu, although it was pizza night so we chose off that menu. Very tasty, and the side portions (chips, onion rings, garlic bread) were HUGE! Great selection of drinks as well.
Does seem to be busy, so may be an idea to book ahead. Planning a return visit for a Sunday Roast! ?

Three of us visited today for lunch. Each of us had something different and really enjoyed our meals. ||The menu is very varied with something for everyone’s taste and appetite. The venue is lovely and comfortable with lots of historic interest.||The service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming.||We will definitely be returning in the near future to further sample the menu of delights .||Highly recommended.

I took my family to the crown for Sunday lunch we could not get a table else where. Service was OK, I had the three meat roast ,which was a chicken drumstick? A slice of beef & a slice of pork ( possibly belly) seemed odd & lacked any green vegetables, all though a big plate for £24.95 way over priced for average at best food !! For that price you should be the best for miles !! Really not shame .

Stayed in Marnhul for a midweek break, this the local pub. A great social hub. Locals friendly and welcoming. Landlord and staff were great. A special thanks to Mark for looking after us and the dog. It's not very often you get a really good and varied menu nowadays in a pub. This was both. We ate every night and the quality was outstanding. We had a great time.Thanks very much

Visited twice in a week. Excellent menu, massive choice, big portions and quality ingredients. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended. They have specials each night of the week like Tuesday night is curry night. Brilliant value food.

The food is mediocre at best. Not the first time I've eaten here, but definitely the last. Over priced with fancy titles to make you think you're getting something special, which it's not! Beer way over priced too, but that's Hall and Woodhouse for you. I had the turkey dinner. Came out cold and the turkey was so over cooked it was dry and tough as old boots. What it's sat on was meant to be cauliflower cheese. If that sauce had seen cheese it was from across the kitchen and it waived as it went back in the fridge. Yuk is an apt descrption.

We had a roast dinner here 3 weeks ago which was very good, so we were looking forward to another one today. Very disappointed. I ordered the pork, which I couldnt eat as it had more fat on than meat and the meat did not taste very nice at all. When asked was everything okay we did say that the pork was not nice. Nobody came over to apologize. We paid the full bill, but we won’t go back.
