We had a wonderful three nights in this gem. The breakfasts were delicious and flavourful. Richard was a delight and very helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. It is really close to the train station, maybe a 4-5 minute walk. There is a lovely garden between the house and the car park. There are chairs to enjoy the beautiful garden or the Conwy River running beside. We would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a 3 night break staying at The Courthouse. The place is fantastic, we had the Interogation Room overlooking the river with a brilliant spa bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotless. |Richard and Tanya are brilliant hosts full of knowledge about the local area. |The breakfast in the morning was faultless and we got packed lunches for our day at Snowdon which were great. |The Courthouse is walking distance from the village where there is a nice range of cafes, restaurants and bars. |We had a great time and cannot wait to return

We had a wonderful stay! The Courthouse was very well equipped, quiet and comfortable, with a fascinating history. The off-road parking is a great benefit in a town where parking can be a nightmare. Richard made us very welcome and was very helpful with tips for walking in the area, and when I mentioned in passing that it was my birthday he recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner and even came up with fireworks at breakfast! The Courthouse is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Betws-y-Coed, which is a delightful town with many shops, bars and cafes, a village green, an EV charger, an old stone bridge over the river, and lovely riverside walks. Highly recommended!!

Have just spent four nights accommodation at the The Courthouse which was superb. The hosts, Richard and Tanya made us most welcome and catered for all our needs in this most charming, historic and atmospheric location. Our room and en-suite was very comfortable and spotlessly clean along with the rest of the property. The breakfasts were varied and excellent and a pleasure to enjoy them in the conservatory like dining area surrounded by lovely views across the garden and countryside beyond.|Excellent value and highly recommended.

||We stayed at The Courthouse for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, which was obviously a special occasion for us. We had stayed in Betws before in other locations and decided to try here for a change. We were so glad we did! From the communication prior to the date of our stay, to the warm welcome we received from Richard and Tanya on our arrival, it felt like we were going to be looked after. ||There was an extra surprise of fizz, chocolates, balloons and coloured lights in our room, which was a lovely touch. Both hosts were friendly and would give local advice in person, where needed, and there was also a detailed book in the room with useful hints and tips etc.||The room itself was large and well decorated. It is an old building, so you have to expect the character that goes hand in hand with that, but it is brilliantly exploited, with bedrooms called "The Interrogation Room" and "The Cell Room" etc. Many original features remain and the hall is like a history of Police attire and truncheons.||I must say how large and comfortable the bed was in our Interrogation Room. Beds are so important in hotels or B&Bs and we both commented on how good this one was.The views from our room were also amazing. One was of the beautiful garden area and the bathroom overlooked the river. You don't get this in many places - even in Betws!||And lastly to the breakfasts each day. These were the perfect way to begin special days. There was a huge selection of pastries, fruit, cereals, jams and marmalades - all of which were fresh, quality produce. The fruit juices were chilled and the tea and coffee made to order. My wife said how nice the coffee was and my tea was served in a little pot, so I could brew it for as long as I liked. I had the full welsh breakfast each day. This was called The Conviction, was was prepared and devoured with conviction. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking were perfect. My wife also tried The Appeal on morning two - scrambled egg and smoked salmon which were more than appealing.||Enough poor puns. We intend to stay here again. It was a delightful stay and truly played a large part in our special celebration being just perfect. It may cost a little more than some places and you can find cheaper accommodation locally, but you get what you pay for. We got a lovely place, beautiful surroundings and perfect hosts. In some hotels, the standard of breakfast we had can cost around £20 per person, but was included in the price.||I don't usually write such long reviews, and I have missed things like the private, off-road, parking (which is free) - but The Courthouse deserves all of the great reviews it gets. We loved it!||

Richard our host was ideal, he was there to greet us, explained everything and answered any queries. Our room was fantastic, overlooking the river, swifts flying around, blue/great tits on the bird feeder on the balcony next door, lovely views & a beautiful garden.||I had a different breakfast everyday.: Full Welsh, Eggs Benefict & Porridge - all perfect & freshly cooked.||Our holiday started with a flat tyre- Richard suggested where to go & it was repaired in no time for a very reasonable price. Thanks Ricjard you saved our holiday we had a great time.
