Tastefully made meals, relatively quick service despite the Friday night rush, fair prices, polite staff, aesthetically pleasing and picturesque.
The only letdown for me was the drinks I had (lemonade and pineapple punch or something like that), both drinks tasted really bad and overly sour.
I've had both drinks in other places and they tasted nothing like this.

Tastefully decorated and furnished bistro bar & restaurant, large enough to cater for large groups. Service is good and atmosphere is decent.
Food is good, just not amazing. The signature kebab dishes were tasty, but as we love Turkish food it wasn’t as good as some of the competitors we have been too.
Live music was a nice touch when we were there on a Saturday night.

Came here tonight with a group of 12 and had a great evening. Granted it was quiet being a Monday so perhaps that helped, but the food was excellent (the ultimate chicken burger was incredible), with a varied choice and fun presentation. The service was excellent and they sorted out a little dessert treat for our friend's birthday. Would definitely come here again.

First time visiting The Botanist tonight..ended up going in a kebab shop as we are still hungry!

Feel really disappointment, the lamb kebab was more like lamb meatballs not a kofte, chips were way to heavily seasoned and the size of an adults burger was more like a child's!

Really disappointed as the decor was beautiful and food looked amazing online.. not what was advertised at all.

Came in here to chill and wait while the lady gets a tattoo.

The building is absolutely gorgeous and use to be an old post office. Inside is just as gorgeous and is huge. It's spread over several rooms and even has a cellar bar.

Discovered this as the toilet was a trek to get too. Even the toilets were really clean and high class and guy behind the bar was friendly.

Will try the food next time!!

After having a steak meal which is somewhat dry as struggled to chew. I prefer my steak medium reere but got served a welldown steak. Worst of it I think its bad idea restaurants dont have took picks this days. The beautiful/lovely waitress was supportive and and took care of my and out guest. Ambience was lively and drinks was well chilled. Therefore I give it a 3 🌟 because of well mannered waitress not the meal.

Eaten here many times ! food is always great ! No complaint there !
BUT last night unfortunately a family members birthday was ruined …..
They had some live singer which was so ridiculously loud we couldn’t even hear the waitress and she had to ask us what we wanted several times ! None of us could talk to each other ! Where we appreciate it’s a Saturday evening there was no need for the music to be that loud ! If it was after 9 pm then fine but this was at 7pm !!
BUT what really made me furious is whilst eating our dessert that had only just been placed on our table the waitress came over with the bill that we hadn’t asked for and said I’m really sorry but here’s your bill we need this table now for other guests ! Absolutely disgusting we paid just short of £400 to not be able to talk to each other and to be told to vacate our table so they can let others sit there !! Management needs an absolute head wobble !!!
