I strongly advise against using Taylor Rose for property transactions. We lost our buyers after five months in the process due to the incompetence of one of their solicitors, forcing us to restart the entire process. Communication was abysmal throughout — they rarely answered calls or responded to messages.

Even on the day of completion, the service did not improve. They transferred funds to our purchase solicitor but “forgot” that a second approval was required, delaying the process. Despite numerous calls and emails from our side, we received no response. The funds were eventually transferred after 5pm, and we almost ended up spending the night in our car. Thankfully, our purchase solicitor waited beyond her working hours and managed to complete the transaction.

Overall, the stress and mental toll were significant. Please think carefully before choosing this firm, as our experience was deeply frustrating

Liz Lennox from Taylor Rose was assigned to us as she was on the panel for the lender. We found her extremely diligent, responsive and professional. Any queries raised by the lender were dealt with by her efficiently.

Completion took place well before the expiry date, and even quicker than we could have hoped.
