Taylor Rose had taken over from my previous solicitors who held my will. However they found my details quickly and easily, and one call and two visits later the updates I wanted had been made and the new will was done. My brother Mike passed away at Lister Hospital in May 2023. He was a recluse and had no family or friends left in the UK. I live in Australia and our other brother lives in NZ. It wasn't practical for either of us to return to the UK to manage Mike's affairs and so everything, including his funeral, had to be arranged remotely from Canberra, Australia. Mike's Will was held by Taylor Rose and so it made perfect sense for me to engage them to assist me as the administrator. I am so glad that I did. Malina and her very capable paralegal Donna were very kind, considerate, efficient and professional throughout the process. Between us we managed the 10-hour time difference very well and emails were always responded to within 24 hours. The cyber-attack at the end of 2023 on law firms in the UK impacted finalisation of Mike's affairs, but Malina and Donna were back at work as soon as possible. When Mike passed, I was daunted by the task ahead of me, but Taylor Rose arranged clearance of his rental property, finalised his few debts, chased money owned and made sure that all Government agencies were informed, as required. It's been a rare and difficult circumstance for both me and Taylor Rose, but I am very grateful that they were there for our family, and I cannot recommend them more highly enough.

I was looked after by Malina Gupta and Donna Collins. I found their services to be first rate treating me professionally and caring during stressful times. All things were fully explained in an understandable way then completed professionally with regular updates.

Sadly we lost mum unexpectedly before Christmas.
Luckily mum had her estate sorted out by using Taylor Rose for her Will.
Malina dealt with mum's probate and kept me informed as it progressed.
Being on top of Christmas we thought it would take longer. We were surprised how smoothly it went and before I knew, everything was completed 4 weeks earlier than Malina expected.

UPDATE:
We use Taylor Rose again to update our wills. The best advise was given to us both.

Our initial inquiry was dealt with a fast response and a meeting quickly arranged which is what we needed. Our solicitor was professional and intelligent and picked up on our requirements straight away talking us through the process and advising where necessary. Charges were explained in advance and were not excessive. A second and final meeting was held sooner than we expected so all our business was concluded in a short time. Despite our dealings being business based the experience was very pleasant, both meetings to the point but in a warm, genuine and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely use this firm again and hope to have the assistance of the same solicitor.
