AVOID! I had 2 ID1 forms which they told me they'll verify for £50, I even had a text with how much they'll charge. Took the documents there with the correct forms of ID. The solicitor looked clueless, I asked them if they had done these before, to which she replied that they have.
Then she told me she would need to see my tr1 and ap1 (she doesn't) before competing the ID1s. As I needed the forms filled, I went back home to get the ap1 and returned within 5 minutes only to find there had been an emergency and to come back tomorrow.
She called later and told me that I also need to bring my passport (I don't, you only need 1 form of ID), trying to make it more complex than usual, which you'll see why later. She also said my wife needs to attend and sign in front of her (she doesn't). She stated they would need to perform "searches" (I'm not buying a property just discharging, so this was also a lie). She then gave me lots of nonsense about potentially attending court in the future (for verifying ID? LOL) and here's the best part, that she will need to charge me £150 instead and not the £50, which was initially agreed. Like she's going to cover (the not needed) court fees for £150 and the imaginary "searches".
Shameless dishonesty! What a waste of time, I'll be going somewhere else more professional and honest.
