Colette Stroud has refused to engage in collaborative resolution or indeed any reasonable negotiations.

Her belligerent approach is more likely than not to cause escalated and unnecessary legal costs, for both parties.

Colette Stroud regularly fails to reply to correspondence including that which is marked urgent or time sensitive. Despite being presented with clear and factual evidence she has continued to advance claims in court which are not true. She does not adhere to court Practice Directions (eg PD27A) and has made procedural errors which have required the interventions of a judge to rectify.

On a personal level, I have found Colette Stroud to be unprofessional in meetings with conduct including rolling her eyes, smirking, and speaking to me in a condescending manner.

The family friendly solicitor managed to turn a relatively amicable divorce into an all out war.

Collette Stroud Law did not practice any collaborative methods, made no attempt to negotiate, is consistently inflaming with poorly written letters, is consistently inaccurate and most of all is incapable of placing a family’s needs first, or indeed capable of understanding a young family’s needs.

Colette Stroud’s involvement has been at severe detriment to my children and their mental health.

If you want a separation to end in chaos, appoint this law firm (1 person and a shared office).

If you want to put your family first, appoint somebody else.

No doubt the firm will use all their power to remove bad reviews as they always do!

I received a very very poor service. Negative reviews seem to disappear which defeats the purpose of freedom to speak. Had I known of the reviews I would have invested my money elsewhere. Which is exactly why they are being removed, but that doesn't help me make an informed choice. There are many good solicitors out there.
