An absolute disgrace of a law firm. They have caused havoc and heartach to me my wife and kids. Not only do they constantly ignore phone calls and emails but I truly believe that they are antisemitic. They have caused us so many problems that we have now had no choice but to report them to the office of the legal ombudsman. I wish we had chosen a different legal firm.
There answer to my review after receiving 3 emails asking me to remove it is this pathetic statement that I am not their client.
My 89 year old mother is their client and she is in a home with dementia. For Almost a year not only did my wife and I look after her, doing her cooking, cleaning, all her shopping, toiletries, food, cleaning products but we laid out the money she would give her grandchildren for birthdays, Christmas, pocket money and religious purposes ( Barmitzvah ). We kept all receipts and handed them over to Stonegate law. We are still waiting almost a year later to be paid out what we owe. Due to ill health I receive sickness benefits and am unable to work. I am going on 65. We are in serious debt with gas electric owing, and receive food parcels from the welfare board. Our emails and phone calls get ignored by Stonegate law the person's you need to speak to are never there. As for Daniel Lumb partner, I truly believe that he is an antisemite as he knows its my youngest sons Barmitzvah and we need the money for lessons and the synagogue yet he is refusing to give me what we are owed to pay for this.
So cleverly they put that I am not their client, but indirectly my mother is their client and we are the ones that laid out the money on her behalf.
Finally it was my brother and I that gave the court permission to choose Stonegate Law as our mothers deputies.
It was the biggest mistake we could have done.
