Whilst purchasing a house I was kept up to date with developments regularly. I was provided access to all documents reviewed during the process. The Web based account was particularly useful for raising questions, and for providing information required by the solicitor.

We used Stonebow as they were recommended by our estate agents for conveyancing . The vast majority of communication was via their secure messaging service - great for keeping track of what had been said , although sometimes I would have preferred a phone conversation at tricky points . They responded quickly to queries, and worked well with the estate agents . On exchange and completion days they did make phone calls to us to confirm pertinent details , and worked hard to meet a tight deadline ! We would use this firm again if we were selling a house .

I recently moved house as part of a large chain. Due to a number of issues with my buyer's circumstances changing this took a lot of time. I accepted an offer on my house in Dec 2023, and then made an offer in Jan 2023.
The team at Stonebow managed all parties well, were prompt with paperwork and answered or returned calls quickly. By rights, the chain should probably have collapsed but their handling of the case means I'm now in a wonderful house and making it my own.
