Really good and informative solicitors. Had an initial meeting with the family lawyer to help kick start my mums divorce. Given yhe potential costs involved we didn't pursue but they were nonetheless helpful

I used Sarah at Stevens Drake for the sale and purchase on my house move this summer. The whole process was very easy from my initial contact with Sarah to completion. Throughout the process Sarah was always contactable by email and phone and replied to emails swiftly. There were a few hold ups in the process prior to completion caused by my buyers initially and then with the purchase of the property I was buying but Sarah dealt with it all perfectly and was able to reassure me and keep me informed of what was happening on a daily and sometimes hourly basis!
I would definitely recommend Sarah and Stevens Drake if you want a reliable and competitive local solicitor who will endeavour to ensure as your move goes as smoothly as possible

Made a full and final agreement on a debt in 2017. Paid as agreed, requested email only contact (in large part due to access/disability reasons). They decided that it was NOT a full and final agreement and kept contacting regularly demanding more information, often inaccessible formats, usually on the phone. Finally offered me a . . . final? full and final agreement which they refused to put in legal terms and insisted a very casually toned email was adequate for. Will not be at all surprised if I hear from (by phone) again the next time they decide that full and final isn't what it says.
