We needed an urgent structural survey on commencing demolition of a large brick fireplace which turned out to be supporting the floor joists above. The Structural Engineer came out the same day and provided a detailed report within 2 days. They were easy to contact by telephone and were happy to discuss any queries from the contractor directly. I have previously used Steve Hunt Partnership for a structural survey prior to purchasing a house and also to obtain structural calculations for removing an internal wall. The structural survey was completed promptly and emailed over immediately following payment, it included a detailed explanation with regards to some cracking in the brickwork that had been identified and recommendations for repair. Any follow up questions were answered promptly.

Following this positive first experience with Steve Hunt Partnership, we got in touch with Gary to provide structural calculations required for removing an internal wall in the newly purchased property. Gary booked us in quickly for a survey at which we discussed our plans, and he discussed options available to us to ensure we were making the best use of the space. Within 24 hours we received the structural design report including calculations for a steel beam to support the structure. Gary was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and has made our experience with dealing with renovation works for the first time much easier! I would recommend Steve Hunt Partnership without reservation.
