Steele Raymond acted for me in my divorce proceedings, after the case was closed, Michelle Bartell then started acting for my ex wife in a family court proceeding.

When I raised a question about a conflict of interest they dropped the case for my ex.

When pressed as to how it could have happened as they legally needed to run checks for potential conflict of interest, they stated it was a 'training issue' that has now been rectified.

This should be deeply concerning for anyone who is looking to use this firm, as a client you share private and confidential information but when basic checks like this are not undertaken that should be a serious red flag to anyone.

Trying to blame inadequate training does not negate the fact that the firm accepted instructions despite an obvious risk of conflict.
