A fantastic seamless service by Salema from start to finish.
Our Son was a first time buyer and her excellent service, dedication and true professionalism, helped him to a very quick purchase of his first property. Nothing was too much trouble for her always answering e mails and returning calls. We are also very appreciative that she worked very late in the final week to get the purchase over the line.
You are a true credit to the legal profession.

We initially reached out to Howard for support with a neighbor-related issue. The service he provided was exceptional, and our concerns were resolved within a week. From my experience, Howard is highly professional and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend his services.

Having never sold a property before, it was with trepidation that I sought a local conveyancer. Luckily I chose the right one .
Julie Brannan was able to guide me through selling my late sister's property, but also able to tread the path of the dreaded " Equity release " connected with the property. Her and her colleague's professionalism made this traumatic time much more easy to bare .
Julie had to put up with so much messing about by the purchaser , adding to the stresses of the situation. I can in no way fault the service provided.
Thanks for everything guys .

Terribly stressful experience!!
I chose them after a site showed they have one of the cheapest quotes..£1800 for sale and purchase (imo scandalous anyway what it costs to move) And it was relatively close to where I was moving.
I was promised less than 2 months to move at the beginning of may- five months later , finally moved!. I even paid a £200 expediency fee they said meant they would deal with things on the day they are received. Waste of money but it was not charged in the end as they admitted it had been slow.
Rubbish! For the first 6 or 7 weeks, all that happened was they received the searches back.
I had to call and call. There was no proactive behaviour when I finally got through. After about six weeks she said she was sorry she would get onto it
Then it was changed to someone else could Leanne.Allen. who called herself the new fee earner!
Again, I.Had to call a lot and wait for a response and chase her and she was always busy Friday
I never understood why the experience. was taking so long... why 2 wellpaid solicitors in this digital age cannot communicate.. Seems more difficult To get agreement than israeli and Palestine !
The estateagent could Say.
That messages had been sent via a portal but apparently mine didn't get them
In the beginning my estate agent recommende Their solicitor and said it would be quicker. But after I realized it would cost me another £800 I chose SHL.
SometimEs it doesn't play to go for the cheapest quote although I wouldn't have Wanted to pay the more expensive quote either....
The whole experience was unbelievably slow and stressful and the initial excitement of my move turned to frustration
I' lost the initial moving company because I.Had to keep changing the moving date.
Literally, I would be calling up every week.To say are we moving next week?Whereas other people get it weeks or months in advance!!
I' ended up using a much worse company that charged me double. And broke multiple items (see review for kwikshift).
Basically missed the. whole summer., When I should have been moving near to the beach by july :((

The firm never made it clear why things were taking so long. The other solicitors claimed it was my solicitors , and she said it was them etc
When the final contract was sent to me to sign , the sale price was wrong , which they knew had been changed months earlier causing more stress...
Additionally, a document from land registry had been missing for some time. But it was never clarified what it was... then.I found it myself in my documents at home.
Finally I only had a moving date about a week before moving end of september 5 months after choosing the company..
The worst part was leanne NEVER TRANSFERRED THE MONEY on the day of moving. She never gave me notice that she would need to call to clarify my bank details. And with all the stress of moving with a terrible removal firm.I missed a call.. sHe only called once!! No email
No apology from her , always hoity toity in her voice to me,
I think she resented me from the start.Becaus I was annoyed about the predecessor and the slowness of the house sale
And because I complained when things weren't going well
I accidentally called her number at 5 PM.When I was having a problem with the terrible removals firm kwikshift... I didn't know I hadn't been paid. And the worst thing was she never told me she hadn't paid me and my removals.Firm kept my itemsfor 5 DAYS because I didn't have the money even on the next day morning!
The firm says you only need to be called 1 time , who has played you nearly £2000 to do almost nothing But push papers about

We used St Helens law conveyancing for our home purchase and had Debbie assigned to us. We did not have a great experience from the very beginning, there was zero communication from Debbie. We emailed numerous times, called, left messages and we never received anything back for 16 weeks. This caused so much stress in what should have been an exciting time. They also ignored calls and emails from our estate agent and mortgage provider. The one star is for Howard who picked up our file and got everything completed for us after we filed a complaint, he was great but it's a shame it couldn't have been like that from the start with other members of staff.
