Yesterday,I took a declaration for administering oath( swearing) and Sriharans said it will cost £50.
The Receptionist took my 1 page document to the solicitor to confirm and came back with £50 costs !
The Law Society set fee for administering an oath is £5 and £2 for exhibits.
What a rip off they are.

Poor service provided.
I used Srinharans Solictors to renew my business lease. Something that should’ve taken 2-5 months max took 1 year and 5 months.
I initially started dealing with a Solictor called Anand, he was very helpful and understood what I required. But after the first month he left and then I my case was passed to someone called Miriam. She was so poor at what she does, I would call every other day and leave messages but I cannot get her on the phone for weeks. She would not get back to with no updates and wouldn’t cc me in any emails even tough I asked her countless times. The receptionist were very incompetent at their job too, I would leave plenty of messages but they wouldn’t pass on my messages or would just she’s in a meeting. I also dealt with person called Adil, he was very poor at what he does as well. These people would get back to me for months and had no clue what they were doing. Nearing the end of lease they lost main copy of the lease. It took them around a month to find it at the end. I would NOT recommend this firm unless you want waste your time and money.
