Took 2 weeks to get in to this garage and told them what we thought was wrong. They said that was exactly what was wrong. Then waited another 2 weeks where they said they would pick it up the next day each time we called. Got frustrated and went somewhere else after waiting the 4 weeks to get in here. Turns out everything they said was wrong is actually fine and it was just a pipe that’s gone. They were going to charge £1000 for labour after we priced the parts they said they were replacing. Wouldn’t recommend. Awful experience

Update** the car has been taken to another garage and everything that this garage said was wrong and was going to charge for has been found to be completely incorrect and it just needs a new cylinder. Complete scam at this garage and really annoyed.

I'm hit and miss when it comes to this garage. I have family who have used it with a bad experience, friends and myself too. I prefer to do everything myself when I can.

I've given them chances, but quite frankly I'm not willing to trust a garage that doesn't own up to its own faults.

I know this specifically because I replaced a bonnet lock on my car for an MOT, and also replaced the handle to release it. Both were brand new and the bonnet opened perfectly. The car was MOT'd the next day and it passed.

I went to open the bonnet maybe 2 or 3 weeks later, and the handle was snapped and hanging off.

Nobody had bothered telling me about this. I can't use people I don't trust

Excellent customer service and advice. Work is completed to a very good standard and in a speedy fashion. Been attending this Garage for 10 years and I am yet to find another garage that matches their work speed, quality of work and free helpful advice offered. Local staff who have been there for many years and there is yet to be a vehicle I have taken in that they did not know how to address.

My old Toyota carolla posed a challenge for everyone but the mechanics were great. They had to search for the correct parts and also helped me out with a loan car. The service was friendly polite, very professional and above all honest. Excellent result.

Stay well clear of this garage, they're cowboys, iv had the AA out on the motorway at Middlesbrough flyover, my wheel nearly twisted under the car, after inspection from the AA, they found 3 bolts underneath were not even hand tight, I went to South Hetton garage in the factory estate for a repair only 3 weeks ago, never had any problem with my car previously, i am really shocked and upset how someone claiming to be a professional garage can forget to tighten bolts on a vehicle. Massively overpriced garage.

I would avoid this garage like the plague, they using young kids in training to work on your vehicles and they not doing a professional job, I am actually going to be taking legal action with them as the AA have written out a full report detailing the problems which really points to this garage as they were the ones to do the work on the vehicle. I could have been killed in that car, I have lost a days work and had to hire a car to get to work. Very Unprofessional.
