I have used many IT suppliers and MSPs over the years, both in industry and education. I can say without hesitation that Sota is the best company that I have ever had the pleasure of working with!
Our account manager truly understands our College's needs and is especially aware of the importance that safeguarding plays in education. We never get the "hard sell", but he is always willing and able to help us when it comes to sourcing hardware, software and services.
We use their SotaConnect product in two of our sites and will be adding a third in the summer. These connections have not failed once in the three years we have had them. Sota's communication is excellent and we are always made aware when work on their network may lead to possible downtime, although this has never happened before.
The members of staff on the service desk are excellent. They are always friendly and professional and I never have an issue getting through to them on the first try.
Sota manages all of our infrastructure including routers, switches and over 180 WAPs, with a further 60 to be added in the next couple of months. Their infrastructure team is absolutely outstanding, both in terms of their technical expertise and the way they handle issues and communicate with us.
In the past we have also utilised their on-site technical support for three days per week. The colleagues who came to work with us managed to fit in so well that our staff were genuinely sad to see them leave at the end of the contract. For teachers to acknowledge and praise IT technicians is high praise indeed!
Sota may not be the cheapest MSP out there, however you are unlikely to find a more effective and efficient company to deal with, either locally or nationally. I can recommend them without hesitation!
