Poor service! This firm was recommended to me, I’m lucky to have not required legal assistance in my life previously. Carla Wyatt (some paralegal whom sadly my query was assigned to), did not keep an agreed initial telephone appointment but eventually (about a week later) responded to my emails. Allegedly, Carla reviewed documentation I forwarded but decided to reply with inane questions. These questions would not have been necessary, had said documentation actually been reviewed. In summation, Carla decided that legal representation would not be cost effective but if I had any further query, to certainly get in touch. I did have further query but almost two weeks later have heard nothing back. At no point was I offered any actual options or a breakdown of costs to refer to. Dear Carla, I guess fee earning isn’t for everyone.

So we had a case in which our landlord was negligent even when given the opportunity to secure our deposit our landlord refused and we moved out a year later.

Smooth Laws Carla handled our case professionally and properly, always down the end of the phone or email to answer any questions or query’s we may have had, offered relevant but not “pushy” advice.
