Great place to park in Skipton on Saturdays and Bank Holidays. The Car Park is run by Skipton Rotary by kind permission of Skipton Building Society on those days and all proceeds are donated to Local Charities. It is only a 300 metre walk down hill to Skipton High Street and the Market.

I had many questions to ask, I must say the girl who took the call was extremely helpful and very patient. I have not have that level of excellent customer service and satisfaction for a long time. I give Skipton Building Society 4 stars for allowing on a Saturday the use of their carpark, for charity for the general public use.
Would have given 5 stars considering the size of the carpark Skipton Building Society should consider to install 6 7kwh chargers for the use of employees and the general public for EV owners

I opened an ISA with Skipton in early March but following failed attempts to pay in via
a Bank card I transferred a sizable sum by following instructions on the Skipton 'app'. Having now spent many hours over the last seven days trying to trace my monies Skipton have 'found' it twice but have still failed to pay anything to my account. In the meantime the 5th of April deadline has passed and I've lost a whole year of tax benefit due to Skiptons' truly shambolic performance. Their repeated knee-jerk responses conjure up a range of mistakes which I allegedly "must have made" - despite following their own instructions.
Currently my money is still missing and the Skipton app is not functioning. What an absolute Joke!
Oh, forget Customer Service unless you have hours to waste on hanging on for 25 minutes.

Buying my first home and had two Lifetime ISAs with different providers so there was a bit of confusion about withdrawing the one with Skipton , who initially said they couldn't help and I'd have to clarify with HMRC - who obviously are no help whatsoever.
Eventually rang Skipton back and spoke to Adnan who was determined to help me and sorted to whole process. Thank you Adnan !
Only 4 stars because the situation could've been rectified by Skipton before I spent 4 hours on the phone to a lifeless HMRC but otherwise good service.

Very poor customer service it has taken them 9 days so far to post out my access code and today they told me it could yet be another few days they can tell me over the phone if it does not arrive but only after a set period has past ...but never mind Skipton I am only losing interest on my money WHILE YOU PONTIFICATE AND DITHERED and they could get 5 stars for their car park but only 1 star for customer services you really do need to get your priorities right how can you expect the public to trust you with their hard earned cash when you act in this manner
