Chloe Jay helped my son when he got into bother. She was efficient, professional and knowledgable, but also very approachable.
I felt able to ring and speak with her when needed, (obviously she asked my son if he was happy for me to speak on his bahalf). Thank you Chloe for making us feel supported in a difficult situation. I''d also like to mention Shae who was also very knowledgeable and approachable when I couldn't speak to Chloe. I would recommend Chloe to anyone for criminal legal representation.

Shentons acted on my behalf over the sale of an existing property and the purchase of a new property. On the completion day I received a sum of money that represented the net difference between the sale price and the purchase price for the new property. More than 7 weeks after the completion day I received an uncouth email from Shentons telling me that they had uncovered an error in their procedures and, as a result, I was apparently required to pay them back a sum exceeding £1000. Hardly an appropriate way to deliver such information. By that time the proceeds had been transferred to a secure holding. It is entirely unacceptable that a legal firm should take seven weeks to validate its procedures and that it should be incapable of producing an account that does not involve simple arithmetic errors. These people are incompetent and unreliable. I would have given them no stars at all if this option had been available.

Michelle and team at Shentons were brilliant at handling our property purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

The quality of work and service was excellent, Michelle is on the ball and responsive to emails, she pushed the other side and made sure we were comfortable and informed at every step. Despite being thrown some curve balls Michelle remained calm, and dealt with all of them in an efficient but thorough manner.

From quote to completion everything her and her team did was excellent, and in line with the estimate given which for first time buyers allowed us to budget without fear of massive final bill. It’s nice to know what you are getting into.

And finally to top it off they are all lovely approachable people that I wouldn’t hesitate to trust with such a big purchase or sale going forward. If you want the job done properly I wouldn’t use any other firm.

This company majorly let me down in a domestic violence case, I was given their number by fear free, all was good once I paid privately but once I applied for legal aid the service i received drop dramatically.
In my witness statements key evidence was not used due to Olivia stating "no judge would want to listen to recordings in court " well she couldn't have been more wrong. The judge laughed at my statement which showed no evidence of the abuse nor the amount of fear my children and myself had against my abusive ex. When social services told me to contact my solicitors as a matter of urgency to apply for a urgent C100 I was told by Olivia she is going on leave and this matter would
Be dealt with on her return. She also stated as my ex had not shown interest in looking for custody of the kids we should not peruse the c100 and I should actually focus on the financial orders. I was horrified at her response and when I complained as rightly I should as this has been a complete let down by a service that you trust and believe have yours and your families best interests at heart, in fact do not. In reply to my complaint Olivia resigned just under two weeks to my court date leaving me to try and find someone else under very short notice. And to top it off she did not send all the relevant paperwork to my new solicitors which they needed to support me in this case. Then I was given a bill that I was totally unaware of and I was informed by Olivia I would not be paying anymore money. The response to my complaint from Chloe Jay was very much supporting Olivia and her poor care of my case, she passed the blame to myself for the poor service received and even stated you checked and signed the statement, yes I did as we had a deadline and I trusted Olivia to know what to write to support my case, I have never been in this situation before and was very vulnerable and scared.
Chloe Jay as clearly supported her colleague and no apology has been made for their behaviour towards the poor standards of service received, and my ex has now applied for an urgent c100 which never should of happened as Olivia should of done this as requested. I have been told I have to pay the bill that from July but was only sent to me in October on resignation of Olivia, no break down and funny how I was told no bill to all of sudden a bill from nowhere.
I can only say to those DV victims please don't use this company they have let my kids and myself down massively and now I have try and build a relationship and trust in another company whilst living with the trauma of being abused and picking up the pieces of a very poor service

if I could give minus zero stars I would. If you need a criminal lawyer i'd avoid this firm at all costs, unless of course you want to be sent down, then this is probably your best choice.They do not go to any effort for you,lack of communication and not on your side.can't be trusted.
