We used Sarah in Bristol Chipping Sodbury for a house sale and purchase. Initially used different solicitors but no progress at all after 5 weeks and being lied too, then instructed Setfords, all initial stuff done within just weeks, then whole process done within 12 weeks.

Would highly recommended and use again for any other legal stuff.

Would never use, or recommend anyone to use Setfords again.
Useless from start to finish speaking to a different person each time. They held up our house move massively while explaining nothing to us as first time buyers.
To top it off, between Red/Georgina/Adam, they missed transferring a document into our name so I am having to go through and do that now myself.

We have had a long-standing and largely successful relationship with Setfords over the last few years. In particular with Rebecca Walton who was absolutely first class.

Sadly, Rebecca has recently moved on from residential conveyancing and we were left dealing with her colleague Merlin Batchelor.

In our opinion the service we have received from Merlin has fallen far below the usual standard (specifically regarding pricing) that we have been used to from Setfords - and within a matter of weeks, Merlin has managed to completely destroy what was previously a fantastic relationship with a company we have often recommended.

We will certainly never use Setfords again - and we could never recommend anyone else use them either.
