Took in our Philips dock which suddenly stopped working and was fearing the worst. 2 days later it’s ready to pick up and good as new. Very impressed and will be using again. Thanks.

Not impressed. Would not give a fitting price or even a rough estimate on a fairly simple AV repair job. Was also insistent that I dropped in the unit so they could give me an exact price. (Could be a complete waste of time without a rough price to start with, high final cost expected, probably not worth doing.) Also insistent that they only fitted new parts. When I had a perfect donor machine for the part needed, working, and had been given expert advice to go down that route, only needing someone local to do it. Not willing to even consider this. No flexibility here. Then advised to go speak to the manufacturer! Stupidly expensive route. Rubbish advice. I was also ‘shut down’ 2/3 times by the lady on the phone. In short fitting a new part plus fitting costs to an old machine would be more expensive than the whole system was worth.

Knowledge and know is not what you get alot of these days, but Steve has it all. When parts aren't readily available, he has what it takes to source. Obviously enthusiastic about his work, as it shows.
I recommend everyone to use him for repairs.

So spoke to this company about recommissioning my Technics hifi that hadn't been used for years due to a faulty amplifier. Steve carried out a first class repair to the asystem and added a Bluetooth unit. A very speedy proffesional repair carried out at a very reasonable price.k
