Shockingly Poor Service - Cost Me Thousands.

My experience with Scott Rees & Co for my remortgage was nothing short of disastrous. Due to their delay, my completion date was set an entire month late, increasing my mortgage by nearly £2,000. Communication was abysmal—I had to chase for updates constantly, including a frustrating three-week period of total silence.

When I raised a formal complaint, it took them three months to respond with a dismissive, “we do not find your complaint as justified,” and no solution offered.

Unresponsive, costly, and dismissive—avoid Scott Rees & Co if you value your time and money.

Update 22Nov: I reached out to the “Client Care team” as per their reply below, received the following.

“I am sorry you are disappointed, but our view remains the same. Please reconsider your post online.”

So I was a bit torn, but let me explain. I had two claims go in with this firm, the first was dealt with swiftly and brilliantly by Laura and the communication was great. However the 2nd claim was disastrous..... I was dealing with someone called Karol and I could not for the life of me get any updates, numerous emails, phone calls, and voicemails left with no response. When I finally got hold of him it's like he didn't want to talk to me and seemed to rush through the communication. 6 months later I get an email saying that basically they're not going to bother. Absolutely shocked and appalled by the service and decision which let an otherwise good 1st experience down. Shame really. Need to do better.
