We have used Scott Hyman Failsworth several times. Most recently Sonia dealt with our sale and purchase, she was so helpful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for Sonia and the team. Having such a professional and knowledgeable solicitor takes any added stress out of the process.

We were introduced to Scott Hyman by our Estate Agent, we decided to use this solicitor for both the selling and purchase of our new property from start to finish the level of service was exceptional.
The Sale of my property wasn't plain sailing but Rachel went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through in a timely manner in order for us to mis the Stamp Duty Fee. in my honest opinion I don't think this would have happened if it hadn't been for Rachel. Very poor contact during house sale with often rude interactions when they did eventually respond to emails and calls. One interaction saw me sign contracts and then follow up with two emails and several phone calls (trying to resolve some questions) with 0 contact for 10 days. In another interaction I was overcharged on an invoice by £250 for search fees that were paid several months prior; fortunately I had a spreadsheet breaking down all the fees to compare to as it’s easy to loose track in a sale.

As a first time buyer I tried to remain positive hoping that thanking them would lead to better service, it did not. This review is left over a year since my purchase following a friend asking for recommendations for conveyancing solicitors and me explaining my bad experience.
