I used Rowlinsons recently for a house move and was a little underwhelmed with their performance especially as they were highly recommended. We had numerous documents "lost" and had to provide them again in person at their offices. Details were missed that were included as part of the initial property information form. Communication was sometimes slow and required chase up via phone. Also our solicitor changed mid-way through which was unhelpful. Admittedly it was a drawn out sale, with a drop out in the chain but i used another solicitor for my ongoing purchase who appeared much more responsive and on the ball.

Other reviewers are correct: work seems to be completed by inexperienced juniors. In my experience they have conveyancing technicians acting as solicitors with seemingly no supervision. You don't want to be taking risks on something as big as a house purchase. I'd say, go with somewhere else.
