I came across RD Financial Recruitment when one of our global consulting client from the Middle East was looking for some urgent recruitment support in UK with multiple finance/accounting roles. I really do not know where to start about Martin King, a Recruitment Consultant from RD Financial Recruitment. I have been working in Accountancy for the past 38 years, and during the decades I have met and spoken to a multitude of consultants. However, none have quite stood out like Martin.
The first time I spoke to him over the phone, I never once felt that I was talking to him for the first time. His approach gave me the feeling that I have known him for a long time, as he was very friendly and highly professional. He also had a lot of patience, and he was always honest and straight to the point.
During the time that I dealt with him, he gave me the confidence to speak freely about the job that I wanted to apply for. Although, I have been working in Accountancy for a long time, faced dozens of interviews and secured multiple jobs; this time I was advised that there is always room for improvement. Martin was very honest and outspoken, as he was happy to point out an area for improvement. This is something which other consultants have never done, so I have not had a fair chance to improve myself. Therefore, I am ever so grateful to him for having integrity and diligence.
Within 3 days I was able to secure the job, although I did a lot of hard work myself, without Martin’s guidance it would have been very difficult. Throughout these days he really worked hard, as he supported me from start to finish and he continued to be very helpful and professional.
Finally, I can confidently say that he is a highly valuable asset to RD Financial Recruitment and he should be retained at any level, as it is extremely rare to find person of Martin's calibre in consultancy.
