Unfortunately I have to rate them 1 as I believe I was misadvised at great cost (£1000+). My entire family was with me in the consultation and all agree the solicitor said that a certain document would be usable for certain proceedings.

However that turned out not to be the case. I queried the solicitor and they are feigning ignorance and are "sorry for not being clear originally". My family and I aren't fools, we know and remember what they said. However unfortunately for us we did not get anything the solicitor said in writing.

I would avoid this firm. If you do go with them ask for a written copy of all advice received and make sure it reflects what they said out loud.

We used these solicitors as first time buyers. At first they were very quick to respond to our questions, as time went on they got slower and slower. Someone was either on holiday/off sick/or didn't work a particular day, I understand that these things happen but expected someone to cover in this instance, but instead we were just expected to wait. We instructed them to start the searches, just to find out months later they had not been completed, when we chased up we were made to feel like a nuisance. We were often spoken to in quite a rude manner. Ultimately for the price we paid I do not feel like we received the "best possible service" as quoted on their website.
