Charlotte Williams has been very understanding and caring in her approach to solving any issues for a new Lifetime Mortgage, with More2Life, for two deaf people. She was representing Poynton Law.
Others, such as the initial Financial Advisor Rob and the appointed independent solicitor and office staff at Hodge Lifetime need also to be be credited.
The work of Sarah Regan, Manager at the Hull Deaf Centre, was invaluable and she provided on-going and tremendous support. It has been a long process but the transfer of mortgage has been achieved.

I used Poynton Law for my Nationwide Equity Release Mortgage. I cannot praise them enough. They explained the process thoroughly, in a very clear and straightforward way and made themselves available for document signing to suit my diary. The whole process was completed in just over 8 weeks. Any queries I had were responded to very quickly and efficiently and the staff I spoke to were very polite and friendly, which put me at ease, particularly as my previous mortgage experience was way in back in 1985! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Don't expect a law firm that specialises in equity release to make mistakes. They sent me a Provisional Completion Statement with breakdown of fees but missed off £500 for the lender's Application fee. Only found out when £500 less was paid into my bank. Never received an apology & passed blame on to the lender's Solicitors. They are based in Wales & the Solicitor they send out to you is based in the North of England. Most of the time the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Very Stressful experience yet they state on their phone message that they offer a stress-free experience. Ha ha ha. Would not recommend. Contacted my Home Insurers to add Equity Release Lender's to the policy (as told to do by Solicitor) & they charged me £41.44 additional fee for the year, as no longer home owner but have a mortgage (was told by Solicitor that this would not add charges to my policy). So costly mistake on their part again!!!
