Pet has been so helpful in supporting my Mum with her planning objection. Next door were planning to put up an extension which would have hugely affected my Mums property. Pet did a huge amount of initial research to establish what the plans and issues were, spoke to my Mum at length to understand her concerns, then wrote a fabulously detailed and evidenced objection letter. Pet also advised Mum how to get the other neighbours on board. We've just had the great news that planning application has been rejected, and feedback from the committee about Pets great objection letter. I was pressing to purchase a particular Church for conversion and approached Pet for advice. She pointed out two specific reasons why permission to convert to residential would be rejected. In this instance they could not be overcome and I reluctantly accepted her advice. Subsequent circumstances have shown that she was 100% correct and I was saved at least a year of fighting with town planning and neighbours as well as substantial losses should I have gone ahead. We submitted plans for an extension that were unfavourably received by the planning department. Pet was recommended to us as a liaison to guide us past the impasse and mediate with the planing officer to find mutually agreeable alterations. After months(!) of very hard work and superb support from Pet, we now have planning permission for a much better extension than our original application.
